Connie Chung, the trailblazing American journalist began her relationship with the famous talk show host Maury Povich in 1977. The couple dated for seven years before sharing the vows in a private ceremony surrounded by sixty-five guests. Well, their love for dogs was also one of the reasons for their unison and now they own a golden retriever, whom they call Birdie.
Even after forty-three years of togetherness and several ups and downs, they are still as happy as they were at the beginning of their relationship. Connie and Povich have an adopted son who is now twenty-five years old.
