Elvis Presley -Convair 880, $60 Million
The icon of rock and roll knew how to roll in style, too, with his collection of private jets. Elvis Presley, being a mega-star of his era, got a vintage private jet, Convair 880 Jet, in 1975. He refurbished this jet for $250,000 to suit his personality and needs. At that time, this was quite a splurge, but Presley was not just any artist.
His jet, Lisa Marie, was the main travel vehicle for him and his friends. He also owned another one, Lockheed JetStar, which was named Hound Dog II. After the artist’s death, the jets were put up for auction despite being in bad shape.
