Barbara Eden, 89 (married for 29 years)
Barbara Eden is famous for her magical genie performance in the sit-com I Dream of Jeannie that lasted for five years. She has acted in an unremarkable number of films in the 50s and 60s. Recently she released a memoir named Jeannie Out of the Bottle that became a New York best seller at number 14.
Her memoir has all the details about her personal life, including her three marriages. She married Jon Eicholtz in 1991 after divorcing Charles Donald Fegert in 1983. Her first marriage to Michael Ansara resulted in a divorce and followed by the death of her son.
Gordon Thomson, 75, Probably Still Single
Gordon Thomson began acting when he was studying at the McGill University, Montreal. He went on to act in Canadian television and stage roles and was cast opposite personalities like Gilda Radner, Eugene Levy, and Martin Short. Besides, he has also worked as a catalogue model to earn a living.
Widely known as the villainous Adam Carrington on the 1980s American soap opera Dynasty, Thomson came out as gay in 2017. He stated that he didn’t come out earlier because at that time homosexuality was labelled as a crime and a mental illness. However, when he finally did at the age of 72, he felt a breath of relief.
Ian McKellen, 81 (in a relationship for 10 years)
Born in 1939, Ian McKellen is an English actor who is a recipient of six Laurence Olivier Awards. Besides he has also won other notable accolades like Golden Globe Award, Tony Award, Screen Actors Guild Award. Some of McKellen’s notable roles are in movies like Richard III, Gods and Monsters, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.
McKellen began dating Brian Taylor in 1964. It ended in 1972 and lasted for only eight years. He then met his second partner Sean Mathias at the Edinburgh Festival in 1978. Their relationship also lasted for around ten years since it was full of conflicts between the two.
