Pat Patterson is a professional wrestler who currently works as a creative consultant and producer in WWE. This Canadian-American wrestler is the creator of the Royal Rumble match. Besides, he has also been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame (1996). He has played a significant role in helping WWE reach new heights.
Patterson came out as gay in the early 1970s. However, his sexuality was not publicly acknowledged until 2014. He was in a relationship with Louie Dondero for four decades until Dondero’s death in 1998. He legally changed his name from Pierre Clermont to Pat Patterson in 2008.
