They both helped the Los Angeles Lakers to win 5 NBA tournaments. Phil proposed to Jeanie in 2012, and the two were on the verge of getting married. However, while Jeanie took over the organization and got busy with the work, Phil became the president of the New York Knicks. This led to problems between the couple and ultimately they broke up.
