Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa | 29 Years
The two-time Oscar award-winning Gene Hackman quietly withdrew from Hollywood in 2004 with his wife Betsy in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Hackman was previously married to Faye Maltese, with whom he has three children, a son and two daughters, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Leslie. The couple, after almost three decades of marriage, divorced in 1986.
Hackman married his second wife Betsy Arakawa, a classical pianist and entrepreneur, in 1991. Exceedingly private, the couple now lives a “peaceful and stress-free” life together in Santa Fe, after Gene Hackman’s unobtrusive retirement from acting and the public eye.
