Manche Menschen zieht es einfach in die Ferne. So auch Manuela Reimann und Konny Reimann. Die Familie verlies Ende 2015 ihre damalige Heimat Hamburg und zog in die USA. Um genau zu sein auf die Insel O’ahu mitten im Pazifischen Ozean! Leider brachte der Umzug eine große Veränderung mit sich: Es ist schwer Kontakt mit Freunden und Familie zu halten. Eigentlich glücklich, leiden die beiden vor allem durch die Corona Krise unter Familienentzug. Bei den Dreharbeiten zu einer weiteren Staffel von „Die Reimanns – Ein außergewöhnlich Leben“ verriet Manu, dass sie zwar versucht mit ihren Kindern über Skype Kontakt zu halten, sie aber natürlich viel lieber in die Arme schließen wurde.
