Loni Anderson, 73 Years Old Today
Loni Anderson became widely famous when her single “O Superman” ranked at number two in the UK singles chart. She is also known to have invented several electronic music instruments, for instance, the tape-bow violin, in 1977. Anderson married American Rock Sensation Lou Reed in 2008 after dating him for 16 years.
The two remained together until the latter’s death in 2013. Furthermore, Reed and Anderson have collaborated on a lot of songs and even music albums. She also invented the Talking Stick, a device that gave the idea of voice filters to the world. Apart from that, she directed and acted in the war-drama film Home of the Brave.
