Jayne Mansfield, Died at the Age of 34

Jayne Mansfield had a successful but short-lived acting career. Besides acting in films, television, and theatre, she was a singer and nightclub entertainer. She had some box-office hits and received a Golden Globe and Theatre World Award. Her notable appearances were in The Wayward Bus, Too Hot To Handle, and The Girl Can’t Help It. 20th century Fox signed her under a six-year contract to launch her as a successor to Marlyn Monroe. Mansfield was married and divorced three times.

Mansfield died in a road accident when she was barely 34-years-old. She had a flamboyant personality and would never shy away from photographers.
