Katherine Ross, 80 Years Old Today
Katherine Ross’s interest in acting made her pursue a career in the same field in San Francisco. This stunning diva made her mark with her debut film Shenandoah while subsequently working in some comedies. Ross garnered international attention for her role in the film The Graduate, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, a BAFTA nomination, and a Golden Globe win. Though Katherine spent most of the 90s’ in semi-retirement, she appeared as a supporting actor in Donnie Darko.
She married a number of times; however, the marriages did not last for long. Interestingly, Katherine is also an author and has written children’s books.
