Mary Ward | Age 105
Native to Australia, Mary Ward is known for her stage performances along with television and films. She was a huge soap opera star of her time with projects like Sons and Daughters, Amy, and Prisoner. The Aussie beauty had technical know-how of acting after she studied acting in England.
In 1948, she became the country’s first female radio announcer for The Forces Sweetheart. The seventies marked her regular appearance in the soap operas and television. Notably, she got popular with her role in Prisoner, continuing it for two years until her character was killed.
