Two Legends in One Frame
Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth once met the gorgeous Hollywood star, Marilyn Monroe. Even though the two personalities came from different ends of the world, fate brought them together in 1956 when the monarch met the movie star at a movie premiere. Surprising, isn’t it?
The premiere was held in London where Monroe was accompanying her then-husband Arther Miller. While Monroe patiently waited for her turn, Elizabeth was seen greeting a line of the guests. At the time, Elizabeth and Monroe were just 30 years old. Sadly, the actress passed away just a few years later at the age of 36.
