The Braemar Gathering in Scotland has taken place for more than nine hundred years now. Initially, Queen Victoria attended the event in 1848, and that’s how the ritual of making an annual appearance at the event came into play. There are various competitions where the Royal family is seen cheering on the participants from tug-of-war to hammer throw. In this picture, we can see that Queen Elizabeth and her eldest son, Prince Charles, are pretty amused by their witnessing.
