Christiane Felscherinow – Age 58
The autobiographical book “Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo” helped the now 57 year old Christiane Felscherinow from Hamburg to notoriety and made her a symbol of the heroin scene. It appeared in 1978 and became a bestseller. The book was number 1 on the Spiegel bestseller list for 95 weeks. The movie version was viewed by around five million Germans in 1981. Natja Brunckhorst played Christiane F .. Now Amazon is producing a series about her life.
Initially, she was released from the drugs, but later relapsed and lost custody of her son. In 2013 her autobiography Christiane F. – My Second Life was published . In 2014 Christiane F. withdrew from the public.
