Julie Andrews commenced her career as a child artist and made her Broadway debut with The Boy Friend. She also gave her voice to Princess Zeila in an Italian animated film. Apart from her acting and singing career, she has published autobiographies about her life in Hollywood and children’s books.
Andrews has been married two times in her life. Her last marriage was to director Blake Edwards as they got married in 1969. The couple stayed together until Edwards passed away in 2010. They both adopted two Vietnamese daughters during their marriage.
