George Takei, 83 (married for 12 years)
Best known for his role as Hikaru Sulu in the television series Star Trek, George Takei is also an author and activist. Takei joined Facebook in 2011 and since then has over ten million followers. Moreover, he is a supporter of LGBT rights and has won several awards and accolades for his work as a human rights activist.
Takei came out as gay in 2005 and disclosed his eighteen-year-old relationship with Brad Altman. However, his sexuality was never an issue for his fans since he was always an active member of LGBT organizations. In 2008, the couple finally tied the knot shortly after obtaining their marriage license.
