Sophia Loren, 86 Years Old Today
Sophia Loren was a part of Hollywood’s Golden Age after she began her career at the tender age of 16. After appearing in a few minor roles, Sophia rose to fame after being launched by Paramount. Her career reached a new high after she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the film Two Women. The cinema legend, now 86, appeared in a feature film The Life Ahead almost after a decade and which is directed by her son Edoardo Ponti.
Sophie has earned a Grammy Award, five Golden Globe Awards, a BAFTA Award, and other recognitions. She literally defined international fame at one point.
